Your rangefinder will display dashed lines when the laser is unable to return a distance.
First, be sure that you are not testing the rangefinder inside/through a window.
- Check battery indicator to ensure that it is not running low.
- Wipe down lenses of any dust/debris build up.
- Fog/Rain can cause dashed lines as well (in the case of heavy fog or rain we recommend using Precision Pro Golf app if unable to get a distance)
